Learn More About Our Hempstead Child Care Location
The name "Alula Bright" is inspired by the Arabic term "Alula," which means “springing forward,” symbolizing growth, progress, and the boundless potential within every child.
Additionally, Alula Bright refers to a unique astronomical location in the Aurora Borealis where two stars, Nu Ursae Majoris, meet and shine as one, signifying unity and brilliance.
Just as these stars come together to create a brighter light, our preschool aims to bring together knowledge, creativity, and joy to illuminate the minds and spirits of the children we nurture.
Situated in Hempstead, our preschool is easy to access via major roads such as Southern State Parkway (20N) and public transport - with various bus stops within walking distance and two LIRR Stations nearby. We also offer dedicated on-site parking, making our center convenient for parents to access during their commute between work and home.
Since our start as an in-home preschool in 2022, we have worked incredibly hard to create the best possible child care service in Nassau County. Our team is working continuously to improve our center and ensure that we are always following the latest and most up-to-date industry practices.
Our team is here to help your little star develop the necessary life skills and self-confidence that will help them enter further education with ease and confidence.

At Alula Bright, we believe in helping parents as well as their children! We have various resources and classes in place, facilities such as our onsite breastfeeding room, as well as family and community events to strengthen relationships outside of our preschool.
The health and wellbeing of our children are our top priorities. We have designated areas for therapists to offer one-on-one support to children, as well as a dedicated "sick child space" for those feeling unwell. This space provides additional support and monitoring while we reach out to their families.

We strictly limit access to our facility to authorized personnel and parents and family members who have express permission to be here. Your child’s safety is our top priority.

We understand that you’re probably wondering what your child is up to when they’re not with you. That’s why the use of cameras in our center allows parents to check in via the
PB&J TV Streaming app, which becomes available to you once you enroll.
